We are pleased to announce that Marco Hoffmann, COO and Managing Director of OpusDNS GmbH, will be joining us as a speaker at Nordic Domain Days 2026.

OpusDNS is one of the most interesting new arrivals in the registrar space, a fresh, modern, ICANN-accredited operation built from scratch for the realities of today’s domain industry. Already on board as a partner of NDD 2026, OpusDNS now brings Marco to our stage to share what it actually takes to launch a new registrar in this landscape.

In his session, “Launching a New Registrar in Today’s Landscape (Compliance, AI, and Real-World Challenges),” Marco will walk us through the hands-on journey of building a modern registrar from the ground up. He will explore how NIS2-driven compliance, automation, and AI are transforming registrar operations, and what that shift means in practice for hosting providers, resellers, and large domain portfolio owners. Expect concrete examples, architectural decisions, integration strategies with registries and platforms, and the practical challenges of running lean and highly automated.
