With your bags packed, the age-old challenge of finding your way has made a long-awaited comeback! So we thought that a small guide might come in handy to aid you on your way to Nordic Domain Days.
For those returning to Nordic Domain Days, the venue is the same as last year, but not the same as the years before that. We are all heading to the Clarion Hotel Stockholm, located on the edge of the part of Stockholm simply called "South."
The address is: Clarion Hotel Stockholm, Ringvägen 98, 118 69 Stockholm
Arriving by Train
If you are traveling into Stockholm by train, you will most likely end up at the central station (Centralen), from where you can get to the venue by taking the Subway (Green Line towards T19 Hagsätra, T18 Farsta Strand, or T17 Skarpnäck).
You are getting off at the fourth stop, Skanstull, where you should head south towards the exit marked "Ringvägen". Tickets are available from the booth next to the entrance or by swiping a contactless card at the sliding doors. A single adult ticket valid for 75 minutes of travel is roughly €4.
You can also take a taxi from the central station to the venue, but it will likely take roughly the same time and run you between €15 to €30 depending on traffic. Taxis are available from the taxi queue on the left outside the station.
Arriving by Air
Most flights into Stockholm will land at Arlanda Airport (ARN), from which there is a multitude of ways to get to the city proper. The Arlanda Express is an express train that gets you to the central station (Centralen) in 20 minutes and costs €30. Once there, you can follow the steps in the above section on "Arriving by Train" to get to the venue.
The other alternative we will mention is taking a taxi directly from the airport. The fare should be around €60 - €75 and take 50 - 60 minutes depending on traffic.
If you instead arrive in Stockholm at Bromma Airport (BMA), we recommend that you take a taxi to the venue. The fare should be €30 - 50 and take 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.
Taking a taxi
An important note about taking a taxi is that you should either book the car in advance or choose a vehicle from the taxi queue. Do not accept any offers of a taxi from drivers approaching you. Once at the venue, approaching the reception and having them book a taxi is preferable to find one yourself.
If you end up in a situation where you want to take a taxi from the street, make sure you look at the price comparison that taxis are required to have on a yellow sticker on the car. The price indicated should be in the range of 375 to 450 SEK.
Arriving by car
If you are driving into Stockholm, your should aim for the Parkering Garage next to the venue called "P-Hus Skanstull" rather than the venue hotel.
The address is: Skansbrogatan 5, 118 60 Stockholm.
This is the closest parking to the venue and offers indoor (not heated) and outdoor parking. The garage also features 14 charging stations for electric vehicles. The cost for parking is €40 per day. To get to the venue from the parking garage, simply exit the complex and head to your left.
